Introduction

Mercerized blended fabric smooth mixed oil HOD-29 is a modified polysiloxane softener

Advantage

(1) Endow fabric persistent washable soft, smooth and fluffy

(2) Can be adsorbed rapidly and uniformly on fabric, and infiltrate through inner fiber,

(3) improve wrinkle recoverability and resilience effectively

(4) Good stability, compounded with cation or nonionic agent, tiny effect on color light of treated fabric

Appearance: light yellow transparent liquid

Ionicity: weak cationic/non-ionic

pH: 6.0-6.5

Solid content: 91-93%

Application

Applied for hand finishing of wool/acrylic and wool/polyester

Usage Amount for Reference 

Dipping Process:   HOD-29 diluted emulsion(20% solid content) 5-12%(o.w.f)

Temperature: 35-40℃

pH: 5-6

Time: 20-30min

Package

 100kg or 190kg plastic barrel.

Storage

Store in cool and ventilated warehouse. 6 months of storage period.

Emulsification Method

HOD-29：200kg

Emulsifier: 50kg

glacial acetic acid:3kg

Water: 1000kg

Dilute process:

1. Add HOD-29 and emulsifier to reactor, start stirring for 5-10 minutes;

2. Add 30kg water to stir for 5 minutes, add 1 kg acid water to stir for 5-10 minutes;

3. Add 30kg water to stir for 5 minutes,

4. Add 50kg water to stir for 5 minutes,

5. Add 50kg water to stir for 5 minutes,

6. Add 50kg water to stir for 5 minutes, add 2 kg acid water to stir for 5-10 minutes;

7. Add 50kg water to stir for 5 minutes,

8. Add 50kg water to stir for 5 minutes,

9. Slowly add rest water while stirring add rest acid water, stir evenly for 5-10 minutes, add glacial acetic acid to adjust PH value to 5-6

Notice: Must use high speed machine, last time can add water slowly.

Emulsifier recommend BASF XL40:XL90=3:7

When in cold weather, emulsifier is easily to freeze, heat and stir to thaw before use.
